Going to the Dogs

A recent controversy erupted—pitting Coffee Labs Roasters in Tarrytown against the County Health Department.

A RECENT CONTROVERSY ERUPTED – PITTING COFFEE LABS
Roasters in Tarrytown against the County Health Department, and neighbors against their four-legged neighbors—when the Health Department warned the dog-friendly coffee shop to stop allowing its pooch patrons into the establishment. We decided to make you the judge, and we asked visitors to our website how they felt about the idea of sipping their lattes with man’s (drooling) best friend. Out of the 317 people who responded to our online poll, 267, or 84 percent, supported allowing the dogs to remain inside the coffee shop, while 50, or 16 percent, wanted to ban dogs from the premises for good. Looks like Coffee Labs should keep the dog biscuits on the counter with the croissants.
