Perhaps you’ve passed the big yellow building off the Saw Mill River Parkway in Ardsley with the big “Grand Opening” sign. What is it? LIFE, a huge (29,000 square feet) party (think Bar Mitzvahs) and play hall (laser tag, rock-climbing wall, mini bowling alleys, and more). That is, a “country club” for kids and their parents. “We want to promote a safe and fun place for parents to hang out and schmooze with their friends while their kids are off playing,” declares Sheri Leonard, LIFE’s marketing director.
