First Private Sector Job Gains Since 2008

In a hopeful sign that the worst of the Great Recession may indeed be over in Westchester, the latest report from the state’s Labor Department shows that the private sector enjoyed a net gain of 1,100 jobs in the Hudson Valley last month—the first net gain since May 2008.
