Following the lead of NewRo and Yonkers, White Plains has also launched a bike-sharing program. Powered by ofo and LimeBike, the county seat has seen 300 bikes roll into its city limits. The dockless, GPS-powered, and 3G-enabled two-wheelers can be parked at any bike rack and will cost $1 per ride. In just a couple of months, the county has gone from no bike-share units to approximately 1,400.
