The Stars Align in Pelham

Hollywood may have them for most of the year, but The Picture House’s “Cinema Soirée” on February 10 will be something of a homecoming for Westchester’s famous film stars. Emceed by Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers, the gala evening will raise money to help renovate and restore The Picture House in Pelham and help its mission to become a three-screen, state-of-the-art film center. And just who will be walking down its red carpet? There’s Fatal Attraction star Glenn Close a Bedford resident; Capote writer/director duo, Dan Futterman and Bennett Miller, two alums from Mamaroneck High School; and The Pursuit of Happyness producer Steve Tisch, a former resident of Scarsdale. Honorary chairs of the evening are actors Matt Dillon and Isabella Rossellini.
