Cyndi Lauper Says Goodbye to her “Video Dad” Who Died in Westchester

“Captain” Lou Albano wasn’t just a WWE wrestler—the 76-year-old fighter, who passed away in Westchester last week, was also known for playing Cyndi Lauper’s father in the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun music video in the 80s.

Lauper paid tribute to her “video dad,” saying she felt lucky to have worked with him and that he was “great fun.”
