Comedian Jean Carroll Passes Away in White Plains

Popular 1940s and 1950s comedian Jean Carroll passed away in a White Plains hospital at age 98.

At the prime of her career, Carroll was a regular on “The Ed Sullivan Show” and headlined top nightclubs and theatres. She also had her own show, “The Jean Carroll Show,” for a brief time. She is often credited with paving the road for the many female stand-up comics who came after her.
