Body of Missing Scarsdale Doctor Found

NYPD divers retrieved the body of Dr. Mona Shimshi from the cold waters of the Hutchinson River in yesterday, not far from where her car was found parked in the Bronx. The Scarsdale resident was reported missing by her husband Sunday evening when she did not return home from running errands. There were no signs of foul play, and a police source reports that she texted her husband “goodbye,” after she left their home Sunday afternoon.
