Too frequently, non-alcoholic drinks at restaurants are a vaguely insulting booby prize for the diners who are generous enough to elect themselves designated drivers (while you pound your Margaritas). The great thing about Saigonese, Westchester’s first Vietnamese restaurant, is that, instead of crappy fountain sodas, it offers tall glasses of deliciously sweet lychee and longan-fruit drinks, freshly made lemon soda, Vietnamese soda, and fresh coconut juice. Yum.
