Labor Day—we love it! A day completely devoted to honoring all the hard work we put in over the last eight months. What’s better than a little self-gratification and a little spending of all the bucks we’ve racked up since January 1st. Here are our top 12 sales (plus one bonus for next weekend) where you can spend some of that hard-earned dough and get a good bang for the buck:
Bloomingdale’s
If you’re a Bloomingdale’s customer in White Plains (175 Bloomingdale Rd.), you will get and extra 15% off all sale and clearance merchandise, and you can visit the outdoor red-ten sale where all wares from various departments are 75% off.
Daffy’s
At Daffy’s in White Plains (Westchester Pavilion, 60 South Broadway), all spring and summer merchandise is 25, 33, or 50 percent off this weekend.
Dorothy Stein
At the Dorothy Stein (111 Main St., Mt. Kisco) Semi-Annual Better Bra sale, you get 20% off your purchase if you buy two or more bras. Panties and other wares are also marked down. The sale ends on September 4.
H&M
Starting Friday all denim products are only $19.90 at H&M (The Galleria, 100 Main St, White Plains).
Heart and Soul
Until September 5 at Heart and Soul in Yonkers (22 Main St.), get 20% off of everything in the store. And, get this: the entire store is already marked down 20-40% so that’s an additional 20% you’ll save.
Lord and Taylor
Throughout the weekend, Lord and Taylor in Scarsdale (750 White Plains Rd.) is offering 20% off all sale and clearance item for those who use their Lord and Taylor charge cards. New customers receive an additional 15% off.
MARCH
All summer items at MARCH Women’s Shop in Briarcliff Manor (1250 Pleasantville Rd.) are on sale. Discounts range up to 50% and more. The sale currently has no definitive end date but will run through the Labor Day weekend.
Nine West Outlet
At the Nine West Outlet Store in Port Chester (US Rte 1 in the Kohls Shopping Center) you can pick up clearance shoes at 60% off, and save 25% off all new-season footwear. The sale ends on September 3.
Simply Cottage
Simply Cottage, the vintage painting and furniture store in Pleasantville (73 Wheeler Ave.) is giving 20% off all furniture and mirrors until September 4.
Tranquility Spa in Scarsdale
From now through September 1, you can make an appointment for any of the summer specials at Tranquility Spa in Scarsdale (917 Central Park Ave.). A one-hour Swedish massage and European facial is marked down from $180 to $165, and a one-hour Swedish massage and loofah body scrub from $140 to $125. Woodbury Commons
From August 31 to September 3, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets (498 Red Apple Court, Central Valley, NY) is taking an additional 25 to 65 percent off at stores like St. John, Judith Leiber, and Frette.

Don’t question the deals at Y? (276 Katonah Ave., Katonah). Shoppers get 15% off new clothing for the fall until the 31st and 70% off spring and summer clothing throughout the weekend.
BONUS SALE
Larchmont Sidewalk Sale
Though not technically on Labor Day, a slew of stores (50 stores participated last year) in the village of Larchmont will be outside displaying their wares on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday September 7, 8, and 9. Merchants have been known to offer up to 75% off as Palmer Ave, Chatsworth Ave, and the Post Rd become a Mecca of deals and discounts. Notable participants include Excessorize (the accessories superstore) and E.B. Barrett (2007 Best of Westchester winner as “Best New Mother-Daughter Store”). Sales start around 9am and run until around 7pm.
