Owners Donna Halperin and Bill Vogel consider themselves “candy curators,” always searching for new artisan treats. There are jars of every imaginable sucker and gummy candy, nostalgia candy (Pop Rocks), Italian torrone (nougat), a selection of caramels (try the Big Picture Farm goat-milk ones), and dessert toppings, but artisanal chocolate is where they really shine, with offerings such as by-the-pound chocolates by a third-generation Brooklyn chocolatier, malted-milk balls like you’ve never known, allergen-free NOEMA bars, and Belgian-chocolate-covered pretzels.
