What’s the biggest difference between the YA audience and an adult audience? Honestly, there is so much crossover between audiences. You have so many adults reading YA, and so many teens have always read more adult books.

Why do you think YA has gotten so big in recent years? There are so many wonderful authors writing complex and compelling narratives that are accessible and easy to read. To quote Nathaniel Hawthorne: “Easy reading is damn hard writing!”
