Hate the way inclement weather encroaches on your Olympic aspirations? Well, fret no more, because A-Game Sports has a new 25,000-square-foot New Rochelle facility virtually guaranteed to get you off the couch and onto the field again—even if the weather outside is frightful.
The new facility, which was officially launched January 16, consists of three major sections, including a turf field for lacrosse and soccer, a smaller turf baseball/softball diamond and batting cages, and a fitness and sport-specific speed-and-strength-training area.

The baseball area boasts state-of-the-art technology in the form of the HitTrax batting system, which owners Kevin Plein and Darin Feldman say is exclusive to A-Game Sports in Westchester County. HitTrax is a hitting simulator that allows players in a batting cage to not only hit a pitched ball but also virtually view its flight path, along with measuring key data in several areas. A-Game Sports will continue to offer a wide range of activities, clinics, and programs for children, teens, men, women, and disabled athletes, as well. Plein and Feldman say that 2016 will see A-Game as home field for a variety of special appearances by professional athletes and experts in college athletics.
