“Life is good in Westchester,” interior designer and panel member Margaret Mintz commented upon seeing this master suite from a home in Bedford Hills. Yes, indeed—who would ever want to leave this tranquil retreat? Designer Claire Paquin added hints of soft minty green and taupe to get a balance of color and neutrality with the rich gray-green wall color. “To tie the sitting room and bedroom together, we worked with the client’s love of Restoration Hardware for the bed, nightstands, sofa, chairs, ottoman, and chandelier and pendant lighting, and gathered unique and beautiful pieces from different vendors to create this calming master suite,” she says. The bench, draperies, and Roman shade are custom by Clean Design; accessories are from West Elm, Global Views, and Plantation.
