Ariana Villalta and Alison Vanderpool met while working at a high-end firm in New York City and joined forces in 2012. “We specialize in designing spaces that are beautiful and sophisticated, yet functional and livable,” says Alison Vanderpool. Case in point is the full gut renovation of a 1920s home in the Greenacres section of Scarsdale. “There was all new electrical, the floors were redone, and the fireplace remodeled,” says Villalta. For the living room, the team chose a soothing neutral palette with splashes of pink and turquoise. The sofas are from Lee Industries; the console is from Lillian August; the rug is from ABC Carpet & Home; and the vintage brass coffee table is from One Kings Lane.
