Airbnb has been dishing out unique lodging experiences for years. Of late, the vacation rental company has constructed unreal one-of-a-kind homes including Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse, The Home Alone house, and Shrek’s Swamp. Airbnb revealed its 2024 summer releases, with its focus being on icons of the world. Guests can embark on experiences hosted by the world’s greatest icons across music, film, art, sports, and more.
Airbnb’s newest local exhibition, the X-Mansion, has made its way to New Castle. This mansion is a must-visit if you are an X-Men fan and want to control your mutant gifts in the mutant training classes offered by none other than Jubilee.
To mark the release of Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97, which is currently steaming on Disney+, Jubilee is opening the doors of the Xavier Institute for Higher Leaning in Westchester County for curious attendees. Be one of the first to tour the 2D world and scope out over 100 pieces of unique X-Men objects throughout the mansion.
The experience includes a new student orientation video from Jubilee, the opportunity to concoct experiments in Beast’s lab, the chance to train like the X-Men in the Danger Room, and a stop in the iconic War Room to let Cerebro help find your mutant power. Once your day of training, completing secret missions, and experimenting is complete, you will take a class photo with your fellow mutants to remember the special day.
X-Men super fans have the option of an overnight stay in either host Jubilee’s bedroom straight out of the ’90s, Wolverine’s room inspired by the series, Beast’s lab, or the new recruit’s dorm room.
In addition to an overnight stay, guests can indulge in a two-hour X-Men experience at the mansion as a day trip. Requests to book the Icon Airbnb opened on May 1, and requesting to book the experience opens on May 9.
