Scarsdale
The homeowners wanted a modern yet warm new-construction house suited for entertaining. The designers worked on the whole home (three floors) — everything from flooring to lighting, including a custom-made entry foyer chandelier by Alice Pirsu Interiors. Materials and finishes give the design a cohesive, consistent, and well-integrated look. Accent walls and features give the eye something to be wowed by.

Rye
An ultra-modern Tudor, this house was built from ashlar-cut Norwegian buff stone. It has cedar shingles, a black slate roof, and lead-coated copper gutters and dormers. The house features oversized, contemporary black windows. The flooring is rift white oak with a matte finish. Each room has a unique ceiling treatment and very minimal trim and molding. Trim is painted gray; hardware is matte brass. The kitchen is rift white oak and steel. The living room, family room, master suite, and rear patio have gas fireplaces — each with a unique design. Custom-made furniture fills the space.

Larchmont
This beautiful house in Larchmont has a classic Colonial layout and exquisite details that the designer wanted to preserve while updating the space. The homeowners asked that the home be modernized without the starkness and formality that might prevent spaces from being used. The design focuses on bringing sophisticated warmth to each room with every element — from grass cloth to custom walnut accents to bold, comfy rugs. Each room is a unique chapter in this home’s history.
