These Are 2019’s Best of Westchester Winners

We all know the 914 is a wonderful place to dine, shop, play, explore — and it seems to get better every year. This edition, a good portion of the people, places, and things on the winners’ list are first-timers, including a bar pie specialist in Port Chester, a Mamaroneck brewery, a 25,000 sq. ft. swanky fitness center in Yorktown Heights, and an art stroll down one of the county’s most charming Main Streets. (But don’t worry plenty of old faves are back — Hello, Lulu Cake Boutique!)

Our 19th annual Best of Westchester issue celebrates 121 Editors’ and 243 Readers’ Picks, the latter resulting from more than 32,000 ballots submitted to the online readers’ ballot from early December to the end of January. The results determined the winners in all major categories except Food & Drink and Health & Beauty (these were done via six elimination rounds in February through early March, when another approximately 35,000 votes were tallied).
