Described as a “food and beer debacle like no other,” Captain Lawrence joins forces with The Cookery for the fourth annual Cooktoberfest. Specialties on the menu include pork belly pastrami, bangers and mash, and The Cookery’s Whole Roasted Suckling Pig, all paired with cold pours from Captain Lawrence. Tickets are $75, which includes admission, food, and beer.

Yonkers Film Festival is back for a third year. In an interview with Westchester Magazine earlier this month, festival director Dave Steck said this year’s show will be broken into blocks (such as comedy, Japanese short films, food-centric) to “reach different communities and show different types of filmmaking.” Read more of that interview here.
