We all know Lyndhurst can be a spooky place—it was the filming location for two Dark Shadows movies, after all. But this month, the eerie factor gets amped up when the mansion becomes home to Jay Ghoul’s House of Curiosities. A crazy cast of “Ghoul” family members and servants meet visitors throughout the scary scenes unfolding in different rooms in the mansion. If you make it out to the other side, you can return through a field of scarecrows—either on foot, or by horse-drawn carriage. The House of Curiosities will be open from October 18 to November 3.
