If the proliferation of people wearing overalls didn’t clue you in, the ’90s are back in full force. The Capitol Theatre gets in on the act with a triple bill of musicians from the decade: Evan Dando of The Lemonheads, Soul Asylum, and Fountains of Wayne (who, admittedly, had their biggest hit to date a little later, with 2003’s “Stacy’s Mom”). None of the bands are content to coast on their old songs, though, so they’re all out supporting recent releases, including Fountains of Wayne’s Sky Full of Holes, Soul Asylum’s Delayed Reaction and No Fun Intended (an EP of covers), and Dando’s Laughing All the Way to the Cleaners (a two-disc compilation of The Lemonheads’ recordings for Atlantic Records). For an evening of hits old and new, head to the Capitol on October 2.
