On Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. Bedford Playhouse will screen the new film First Reformed, starring Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried. After, there will be a Q&A with one of America’s greatest writer-directors, double-Golden Globe nominee and AFI winner Paul Schrader (American Gigolo, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Affliction).
First Reformed has been Described as “a gripping thriller about a crisis of faith that is at once personal, political, and planetary.” Metacritic added, that the film is “[b]rought to life by delicate work from writer-director Paul Schrader and elevated by a standout performance by Ethan Hawke.”
General admission tickets are $30 per person.
