Think your kids have the right stuff for a future in competitive swimming? Sign them up for one of these exceptional local programs.

Badger Swim Club

Five Olympians trained at this nationally recognized, performance-based Larchmont swim club which offers an Age Group Team for kids 12 and under, a Junior Elite Team for accomplished swimmers over the age of 12, and a Senior Team led by lauded coach John Collins, which competes at the highest local, collegiate, national, and international levels, as well as several clinics.

Westchester Aquatic Club

Kate Douglass got her start at this New Rochelle swim club, which offers a Cubs program for kids 5 and over, a Stroke Development team for kids 6 and up, an Age Group Team for kids 8 and above, as well as a Select Age Group Team, National Age Group Team, Senior Prep, and Select Senior Prep, all of which get kids ready to join its acclaimed, year-round competitive Wolverine Senior Team. Entry is dependent upon ability, commitment, and time standards, rather than the age of the child.

Swimlabs

With a location in Elmsford, this national chain has a spot for everyone from infants to senior citizens and even developmentally different kids. With toddler and infant classes, adult swim lessons, adaptive swim lessons, and private lessons leading all the way up to swim camps and clinics, swim team prep, and competitive swim training, this complex is a one-stop-shop for getting acquainted with the water.

Located in Mount Kisco, the BGNW offers both an aquatics club with classes for every age from 6 month olds to adults, as well as a competitive year-round swim program with its resident team, The Marlins—including Mini-Marlins and Novice Groups, both for kids under 10, Junior Groups for kids aged 10 to 13, and Senior Groups for kids aged 13 and above.
