The family-friendly Saxon Woods Park delights with miniature golf, an ADA playground, hiking trails, and more in Westchester.
In colonial times, the park area was called Saxton Forest after William Saxton who operated a saw mill on the Mamaroneck River. Today it hosts the county’s biggest swimming pool, an aquatic playground, full-sized and miniature golf courses, and the county’s only playground accessible to the disabled. The trails are popular with hikers and horseback riders.
