The beginning of May is jam-packed with to-dos for those in the celebratory mood. When it comes to Star Wars Day, this Bronxville pastry shop leans in big time. The store will host a special celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. filled with all the themed treats you can imagine. On Instagram, it’s teasing followers with lightsaber-shaped treats and drone molds, so you know this will be one for the books.

Star Wars Day Grab ‘n Go Activity Packet
Crestwood Library, Yonkers
Costumes are encouraged for this family-friendly fest at Crestwood Library. Attendees can enter the Star Wars raffle and check out themed books before picking up a grab ‘n go activity packet to complete.

This is not exactly a May the Fourth event, since it takes place on May 3, but Free Comic Book Day goes down on Saturday, and it’s the perfect chance to pick up a fun Star Wars-themed read at Squiggy’s Dugout.

Star Wars: A New Hope Screening
Jacob Burns Film Center, Pleasantville
Follow Luke Skywalker on his journey to help the galaxy during this Sunday afternoon screening at the Jacob Burns Film Center. Anyone who shows up in costume will receive a free popcorn! The Pleasantville movie house is also showing The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, so Star Wars fans can watch all three flicks to learn how it all started. Plus, anyone who attends all three screenings will be entered into a raffle to win one of four JBFC hats.
