The Thames is nice, but it’s got nothing on our very own Hudson. Need proof? A new exhibition at the Hudson River Museum will let you compare landscapes of the two side-by-side—and big ones, too. The Panoramic River: The Hudson and the Thames presents large-scale paintings of both rivers by artists such as Robert Havell, Jr., John Frederick Kensett, and Jasper Cropsey. Tell your kids they’re like IMAX movies, but without the “movie” part. The exhibition will be on view from February 2 to May 19.
