Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, a Netflix-produced film formed on the basis of Charles Brandt’s true-crime novel I Heard You Paint Houses, is in theaters, but only in a very small handful of them and for a short period of time, until about mid-December. Come November 27, the movie will be released digitally on Netflix’s streaming platform.

However, with a $200 million budget, this is Scorsese’s priciest project to-date, and that alone makes this cinematic gangster-film masterpiece worth catching on the big screen. While no county film houses have any scheduled showings, here’s where to watch The Irishman in theaters near Westchester. For complete dates and showtimes, check the schedule here.
