Have you ever fallen down an online foodie rabbit hole where everything you saw you just had to try? That is the feeling when walking around the Grand Tasting Village, where everything will catch your eye, and it’s all for the taking.
The Grand Tasting Village is the signature event that caps off Westchester Magazine’s Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, June 11, bringing together the best eats and drinks in the county. From chef demonstrations to food trucks and wine seminars, a food lovers’ oasis comes to life at this Westchester happening.

There will be something for everyone at the Grand Tasting Village, with more than 40 local restaurants participating and over 200 wines and spirits offered this year. Taco lovers can choose between four different spots, including bartaco and The Taco Project. Looking for a classic Italian-style home-cooked meal? Check out Giordano’s or Bronx Little Italy. For anyone seeking global flavors, feel free to travel through cuisine by trying Sambal Thai & Malaysian or Aji Limo Peruvian. If you want to engage your sweet tooth, there’s Alchimista Spiked Ice Cream and Nothing Bundt Cakes. And finally, if you need a pick-me-up after all that, stop by Coffee Labs Roasters or Joe Coffee.
As for entertainment, there will be chef demos running throughout the day at the Grand Tasting Village. The demos will feature Bravo’s Top Chef and Goosefeather owner Chef Dale Talde; ABC’s Great American Baking Show Season 4 winner Tina Zaccardi; Iron Chef America Season 4 winner and renowned Hudson Valley Chef Peter X. Kelly, and RiverMarket Bar & Kitchen’s master mixologist Emilio Ugarte. There will be plenty to learn…and consume.

Those looking for an experience with a more personal touch at the Grand Tasting Village should head for the Party Line Connoisseurs Tent. This private space features a lounge and some of the best wines and dishes that can be found in the county. In addition, wine expert Kevin Zraly will be giving wine seminars throughout the day.
The Grand Tasting Village will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla, just off the Taconic State Parkway. Tickets are available now for $85, allowing you to try the very best win and food in the area. Packs of 10 are on sale for $800.
