Yonkers
November 17, 6 p.m.
Cross County Center, Yonkers
The Cross County Center hosts its tree lighting this Friday. Families can enjoy live music, an electric train ride, entertainers, and even a visit from Mrs. Claus. The lighting of the 40-foot Christmas tree will be at 7:30 p.m. Not only does this mark the beginning of the holiday season, but also the opening of the center’s pop-up holiday ice rink. Admission is $10 per person for an hour of skating.

Katonah
November 26, 6 p.m.
Bedford Road, Katonah
The Chamber of Commerce’s tree and menorah lighting will be held the Sunday after Thanksgiving at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Bedford Rd.
Armonk
November 26, 12-5 p.m.
Main Street, Armonk
Did you know the song “Frosty the Snowman” is supposedly based on Armonk? Now, whether that’s true or not, the town celebrates like it is with a big village parade and a tree lighting ceremony. From 12:30-3:30 p.m., there will be entertainers, train rides, magicians, clowns, and arts and crafts. The holiday parade kicks off at 4 p.m. followed by the tree lighting at 4:30 p.m.
Mount Kisco
December 1, 6-7:30 p.m.
Village Hall Green, Mount Kisco
The Village of Mount Kisco will hold its annual tree lighting and caroling at the Village Green from 6-7:30 p.m. There will be caroling, festive refreshments, and even a visit from Kris Kringle himself.

December 2, 4 p.m. — December 3, 1 a.m.
The Barley Beach House, Rye
The Barley Beach House will hold its Christmas tree lighting and holiday market on Saturday, December 2. The event starts at 4 p.m. with Christmas carols, hot chocolate, candy canes, and 50 holiday market vendors. The tree lighting will be at 7 p.m.
Tarrytown
December 2, 2-9 p.m.
Patriots Park, Tarrytown
Tarrytown’s annual holiday tree lighting and holiday market will be held at Patriots Park on Saturday, December 2. The TaSH Holiday Market will be open from 1-6 p.m., while tree lighting and performances by Tarrytown Music Hall Academy will begin at 4:15 p.m. Guests can take the Holiday Trolley between Patriots Park and Downtown Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow for local shopping, performances, and visits to Santa between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Depot Square, Tuckahoe
The village’s annual Winterfest will be held this year in Depot Square and feature pictures with Santa, train rides, a magician, and a face painter. The tree lighting will commence at 5 p.m.
Yorktown
December 2, 5:15 p.m.
Jack DeVito Veteran Memorial Field and Track, Yorktown
On Saturday, December 2, Yorktown will hold the 12th annual holiday electric light parade and tree lighting.
New Rochelle
December 9, 4:15 p.m.
Memorial Plaza, New Rochelle
New Rochelle is celebrating the holidays with a holiday lighting ceremony at Memorial Plaza. There will be music, snacks, hot cocoa, photo ops with Santa, as well as a tree and menorah lighting.
White Plains
December 10, 5-6 p.m.
Renaissance Park, White Plains
White Plains City Lights, Bright Holiday Nights tree lighting takes place on Sunday, December 10 at Renaissance Park. Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season as the Mayor lights the holiday tree, which also marks the start of the city’s holiday market.
