Croton Artisans’ Holiday Boutique

December 6, 7-9 p.m.
Stanley Kellerhouse Municipal Building, Croton-on-Hudson

The Croton Artisans host their 28th Annual Holiday Boutique at the village’s municipal building. Grab handcrafted holiday gifts for your mom, daughter, grandparents, or coworkers at this event. Vendors will be selling handmade jewelry, Japanese paper art, scarves, fashion, paintings, glass work, and more. There will also be tasty treats and live music at the boutique.

Cookies & Cocoa

December 6
The Westchester, White Plains

Make a pitstop during your holiday shopping this weekend and head to the mall’s Cookies & Cocoa celebration. The special holiday event is designed for families to grab a photo with Santa and enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, music, and entertainment. Free cookies are available while supplies last.

Sleighbells on the Avenues

December 7, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Larchmont Business District

Larchmont is in the holiday spirit this weekend and will be hosting a day-long event featuring familiar faces and festive displays. Hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride from noon to 3 p.m. for a complimentary sleigh ride, then welcome Santa and Rudolph from 1-3 p.m. in the Pocket Park. Elsa and Olaf from Frozen will be on the corner of Larchmont Avenue and Gilder Street from 10 a.m. to noon. Additional festivities include carolers from 10 a.m. to noon, wine tasting throughout the village from 3-7 p.m., a holiday trolley offering free transport from 3-7 p.m., and a community space for your holiday wishes.

Culture & Food Walking Tour

December 7, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Peekskill

Peekskill is home to a diverse artist community with vintage bookstores, festivals, live music, and a large foodie culture. Explore all that Peekskill has to offer on this walking foodie tour that includes stops at 10-15 food and non-food locations. Guests will enjoy bite-sized food, desserts, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. The cuisines vary between Latino, Caribbean, Asian, Southern, and American. In addition to plenty of bites, guests will learn about Peekskill’s rich history. The tour is two hours long and spans two miles; tickets cost $125.

The Nutcracker Performance

December 8, 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, Peekskill

Grab your family tickets to a short and sweet performance of The Nutcracker at the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater this Sunday. This one-hour, family-oriented rendition of the holiday classic includes the timeless music of Tchaikovsky, beloved dances, engaging narration, and stunning costumes. The 1 p.m. show is a sensory-friendly performance designed to create a welcoming and comfortable arts experience for people with autism, sensory sensitivities, or other social, learning, or cognitive disabilities. Modifications include a lower sound level, lower lights, a reduction of strobe lights, and the freedom to talk and leave seats during the performance. The 5 p.m. show is not a sensory-friendly performance.
