Named after the Indian from whom this land was bought in 1696, a recent cultural resources inventory indicates that Wampus Pond is home to historically significant residential development remnants, Native American artifacts, and 20th century rock shelters.

  • County park pass is not required for admission

  • Directions: Route 128, Armonk

  • Park hours: Rowboats are available weekends and holidays, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Rental fees here.
