There's a Free Concert Series in Mamaroneck this Summer

A summer concert series is a way to enjoy great music with people during the warm season. Great news for Westchester, the “Summer Nights on the Sound” series is returning for your entertainment. This free event features several concerts starting July 4 at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck. The bands lined up to play offer an eclectic mix of music for everyone to enjoy.

 

St. Thomas Orchestra

Tuesday, July 4, the St. Thomas Orchestra will hit the stage during the Mamaroneck Fire Department’s Annual Carnival to perform symphonic music. The Soundettes, a four-part women’s a Capella group, are set to take the stage first to sing the Star Spangled Banner at 8 p.m.

 

Bensen-Scott Big Band

Sunday, July 16, enjoy the sounds of New York Jazz mixed with Latin Jazz when the Bensen-Scott Big Band performs. This concert will feature music from the 1940s swing era, but with a little Latin flare.

 

Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes

Listen to the indie-folk band Scott Wolfson and Other Heroes this Sunday, July 23. Th indie-folk, pop-rock band will get you on your feet for a night of fun.

 

3D Ritmo de Vida

Sunday, July 30, 3D Ritmo de Vida will take the stage for their performance. Their sound blends island rhythms, contemporary jazz, and soul for a complete blend of music. The band draws from a multitude of influence to create the 3D Ritmo de Vida sound.
