4 Westchester New Year’s Eve Ball Drops You Don’t Want to Miss

Day or night, there’s a ball drop to celebrate the birth of 2019.

Ring in the New Year at Noon

New Rochelle flips the script with this kid-friendly, midday celebration at New Roc City, featuring face painting, entertainment, and a 3,000 balloon drop as the clock strikes 12.

Winter Wonderland’s Family New Year’s Eve Party

Get here early to catch the daily circus show or to go for a whirl on the rides. The 7 p.m. ball drop and pyrotechnic show end just in time to get home for bed.

White Plains Ball Drop

This ball drop and fireworks display draws roughly 20,000 revelers each year to a cordoned-off intersection at Main and Court Streets. The party starts at 10 p.m., with a live band and DJ, and continues (unofficially) at nearby bars, with free rides home via Heineken USA’s Safe Ride program.
