Mini-burgers (2.8 oz duo- or trio-pack), milkshakes, and panko-crusted onion rings are the prime offerings at the first county outpost of BurgerIM (1137 Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck; 914.835.0054), an Israeli global fast-casual chain with more than 500 locations. A second county location will open in Dobbs Ferry’s Rivertown Square by early fall.

Pleasantville’s Wood & Fire debuted a new Scarsdale location in late May (118 Brook St; 914.722.4854), serving 800ËšF wood-fired pies (order the Bianca with ricotta, spinach, and fresh mozzarella) and other Neapolitan fare.

After a year-plus closure and renovation to go from a coffee-shop interior to a contemporary one, Eileen’s Country Kitchen (960 McLean Ave, Yonkers; 914.776.7532) reopened as Eileen’s in late March. The menu consists of traditional American comfort food, plus Irish specialties. Eileen’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch (with dinner service a future possibility).
Poke Bowl (175 Main St, White Plains), a mostly takeout eatery specializing in the Hawaiian dish of raw, marinated fish tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and umami-packed sauces, was scheduled at press time to have opened by summer’s end.
In June, Land & Sea Restaurant (307 Halstead Ave, Harrison) closed after 45 years in operation.
