It’s a family affair at La Vista (355 Smith Ridge Rd, South Salem; 914.533.2671), the 70-seat Italian restaurant that opened in 2016 in a charming Colonial that previously held Nino’s. Owner and Chef Remy Hoti, who formerly ran the white-tablecloth Fino in Midtown Manhattan, works with his wife, Dashurije, son and GM Kosovar, and daughter Albana. In addition to a 40-seat patio in the rear of the house, a garden yields tomatoes, three types of peppers, zucchini, herbs, and cucumbers seasonally.
