Textile artist Helena Hernmarck is known for weaving a wealth of disparate concepts into her incredible art. In this combination of exhibit and installation at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, the acclaimed artist manages to sew herself into the show. Helena Hernmarck: Weaving in Progress features an incredible array of works, along with the artist herself, who will be in residence at the museum through January 19, creating new pieces alongside an apprentice in the gallery space three days a week.

All-Star Laughs
Now that beloved TBS host Conan O’Brien has set up shop in LA, it might seem a stretch to see the funnyman in the flesh. No need to fret, since the former SNL and Simpsons writer has hit the road with his new show, Conan & Friends. O’Brien will be joined onstage at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre for a night of stories and standup by acclaimed comedians Flula Borg, Rory Scovel, James Veitch, and Marina Franklin.
