Things are looking bright for county car buyers. Tesla, the California-based greentechnology company, plans to open a dealership and educational center at the former Jeraci Foods Distributorship in Greenburgh’s Fairview Corporate Park. The property was recently purchased by Simone Development and will join two other area Tesla dealerships. The expansion comes on the heels of Tesla’s new Model 3 release, which has brought an influx of new customers, thanks to the car’s more affordable $35,000 starting price. The Model 3’s features include automatic adjustable seats, LED fog lamps, two USB ports, and tinted-glass roof with ultraviolet and infrared protection. Enhanced Autopilot can also be included for an additional $5,000.
