New Rochelle Cinema [Regal New Roc Stadium] has a modest 18 screens, stadium seating, and IMAX. A real, new-fashion, immersive movie experience.
Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow. A visit to this sparse little church and spooky boneyard is best on a windy autumn afternoon.

Rye Playland is an absolute must. This old-time amusement park is captivating, with more than 50 rides, a children’s museum, a swimming pool, and an ice-skating rink.
Sheldrake Environmental Center in Larchmont is my favorite place for walks. It has a pond, streams, a waterfall, and it always revives me. It also runs great hands-on educational programs for kids and adults.

Tarrytown is a charming Hudson River village that also happens to be home to Sunnyside, the riverside home of author Washington Irving of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow fame. The house is an enchanting mishmash of Colonial, Gothic, and Tudor architectural styles.
Untermyer Gardens Conservatory in Yonkers is an absolute must-see, from the Temple of Love to the Sundial Gardens.
