Good news for all those who struggle to find time for even the briefest of lunch breaks. New York City’s red-hot food-delivery service UberEATS has partnered with 86 regional restaurants to bring the best of what Westchester has to offer to all those short on time — and long on hunger. Run by the ubiquitous ride-sharing service Uber, UberEATS is a standalone smartphone app that can be downloaded for free. Popular local restaurants like Walter’s Hot Dogs, Organic Pharmer, Spice Kitchen, and Polpettina now deliver to large swaths of the county. A service fee of approximately $4.99 is tacked on to any purchase, which is likely worth it, considering you no longer have to hoof it to dozens of the area’s best eateries.
