All Work and No Play Doesn’t Apply in Jägermeister's White Plains Office

Jägermeister’s US division relocates to posh White Plains digs packed with stellar workplace amenities.

The ninth floor of 10 Bank Street in White Plains is now home to the US division of Mast-Jägermeister SE — complete with a giant game of Connect Four and a massive disco ball. The German company, previously based in New Rochelle, moved to its new 30,000 sq ft office this past summer to accommodate all 55 employees on one floor. The open space was designed to spark creativity and encourage cross-team collaboration. The new office features entertaining amenities, including a meditation room and a bar area (above) with a “Brandmeister,” who mixes cocktails for R&D, events, and media pitches. Longtime employee Lauren Jangl says, “Inspiration can be found around every single corner.”

The new White Plains office respects the rich history of the family-owned brand by having a dedicated corner that showcases the history of Mast-Jägermeister SE, which was founded in 1878 in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. Ad campaigns from today and yesteryear can be found here.

Local masters (meisters) of music, food, fashion, and art who reflect the company’s authenticity and originality have created street-art murals, custom-designed bottles, a hand-painted tap, and brand-inspired sneakers for Jägermeister. Some of these pieces displayed in the White Plains location are from different events throughout the years, while others were made specifically for the new office.

Employees can tap into their inner Zen at any time by retreating to a meditation room on the premises. The room encourages employees to unwind with reclining chairs, a water feature, yoga mats, and a massage chair.

As soon as you step out of the elevator, you are greeted by a swanky chandelier made of 56 full-sized Jägermeister bottles, which represent the 56 natural ingredients found in the digestif. The fixture, made exclusively for the White Plains office, was a collaboration between Jäger’s architect, Anne Bavier, and her fabricator.

Used for conference calls, this room features an oversized table called the stammtisch (German for “regulars table”), which was custom-made from reclaimed wood.

The office’s designated game area features a ping-pong table and a four-foot version of Connect Four. Gracing the walls of the space are several guitars that have been autographed by such music superstars as Slayer, Fall Out Boy, Lee Brice, and many others.

No game area (even if it’s located in a corporate office) is complete without a disco ball.

Jägermeister is made from a secret recipe (known to only six people in the world!) of 56 herbs, blooms, fruits, and roots. When the herbal liqueur is created, its base is housed in more than 400 oak casks. A real wooden barrel intended for this process can be found in the office and doubles as a seating area and workspace. Bonus: Foosball is just one of many games available for employees to enjoy while taking a break.
