Westchester is no stranger to fitness trends, with everything from OrangeTheory to Barry’s Boot Camp already calling the county home. Now, there are two new ways to exhaust yourself in the name of good health with the opening of Port Chester’s F45 and Life Time Athletic Chappaqua.
F45 (shown above), a workout methodology that originated in Australia and can now be found in countries across the globe, prioritizes high-intensity interval training and top-notch coaching to get participants in shape. The cool-sounding name comes from the gym’s 45-minute workouts, which utilize both instructive screens and high-end equipment to make sure everyone gets the most out of their sessions.
Those seeking a swanky gym to sweat it out need look no further than Life Time’s brand-new location in the former Reader’s Digest headquarters at Chappaqua Crossings. This roughly 40,000 sq. ft. location features an executive fitness boutique, café, luxury-spa experience, Pilates studio, and kids’ academy, among other fancy fitness features.
