Dr. Victor Sternberg
My journey to Dr. Save My Teeth began as a young boy coming from a family in which both of my parents lost all of their teeth by age 40. As a result, I spent endless hours with my dentist, who became a role model leading me to a career in dentistry.
My education at Tufts Dental School and Columbia Graduate School stressed the preservation of natural teeth. At that time, the only alternative for natural teeth was dentures — and a poor alternative at best.
Thanks to talented and innovative teachers in both dental school and graduate school, I was able to bring to my practice a focus on the prevention and the preservation of natural teeth. Now after more than 40 years of practice, I can state unequivocally that stressing the prevention of dental disease is the single most important thing we do in dentistry, whether it involves the health of natural teeth or dental implants.
