Coordinating and decorating events throughout Westchester and the surrounding area since 2006, with her company DNK Floral & Events, owner Renee Plummer-Brown, has designed and managed an ensemble of events such as weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, and bar and bat mitzvahs. The MWBE-certified business owner, attorney and author expanded her portfolio in 2019 by creating her own venue, located in Mount Vernon, NY, called Double Door Event Space. A 7,000 square-foot venue with two event rooms that holds events, trainings, seminars, fashion shows, trade shows, pop-up shops, and so much more. It has an industrial look, nostalgic of a Manhattan loft, with a modern flare perfect for any event or client. In fact, Renee has coined it “Your Uptown Downtown Space.” With her corporate office in the heart of downtown White Plains, Renee is passionate that Westchester is the best location for her event business to flourish.
