A. Westchester Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Implantology and Southern Connecticut Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Implantology offer stress-free environments in which board-certified specialists Michael Graffeo, DDS, and Harrison Linsky, DDS, MD, deliver a full range of services, from removal of wisdom teeth, bone grafting, and implants to reconstructive surgery. They also perform the “All-on-4” procedure, which is a surgical and dental solution to rehabilitate patients with severely compromised teeth or loss of teeth. From their new surgical facilities in Purchase, NY, and Stamford, CT, they provide top-quality care in state-of-the-art settings designed for patient comfort. Both doctors have been in private practice for 11 years.

Q. What type of advanced techniques and approaches can patients expect?
A. At our practice, patients can expect advanced CT technology, computer-guided implant surgical capabilities, and other innovations, as well as electronic medical records and digital X-rays to ensure readily available information. Patients of all ages receive professional, courteous service through their entire treatment. To minimize any potential anxiety, the doctors and staff are CPR certified, able to assist with IV sedation anesthesia, and provide continuous patient monitoring.

Q. Can you provide details about the background and experience of Dr. Graffeo and Dr. Linsky?
A. Dr. Graffeo received his dental degree from New York University School of Dentistry. Dr. Graffeo served as chief resident and completed four years of specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Hospital, affiliated with the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Along with being on medical staff at Westchester Medical Center, he has lectured on topics such as reconstruction, dental implantology, bone grafting, and noninvasive cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Linsky graduated from Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery before earning his medical degree from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He served as chief resident at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he completed a one-year general surgery internship and four years of specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Linsky is on medical staff at Mount Sinai and lectures nationally and locally on jaw reconstruction, dental implantology, and bone grafting.

Q. Are there any additional affiliations patients should be aware of?
A. Drs. Graffeo and Linsky are both members, fellows, and diplomates of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Both doctors are members of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Association, and Connecticut State Dental Association. Dr. Graffeo has been a previous President of the White Plains Dental Forum, and Dr. Linsky is currently the President of the Westchester Shore Dental Forum.

Both doctors have also been named Top Dentists by Westchester Magazine from 2012 to 2020.
