Will your kids love coming to the dentist? If you take them to Dr. Penny (as children refer to Penny Resnick-Graulich, DMD, Main Street Pediatric Dentistry), chances are excellent that they will. “We make it a really fun environment, and the kids like coming here,” says Dr. Penny. “We tell them about a procedure, then show them, and then do it,” she says of her “tell, show, and do” desensitization process. “Nothing is scary.”
Dr. Penny and her associates Dr. Emelie, Dr. Danya, and Dr. Fatima do preventative and restorative dentistry. Dr. Penny established the practice in 1984 after graduating from University of Pennsylvania Dental School and New York University Dental School with a specialty in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Emelie received her training and DDS from Columbia University School of Dental ad Oral Surgery along with a residency at the University of Virginia and Maimodes Medical Center. Dr. Danya received her DMD from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine, followed by a pediatric specialty residency at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After earning a DDS degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, Dr Fatima completed a residency at Staten Island University Hospital. The entire office is designed to help patients from ages 1 to 22 years, including children with special needs, have a happy experience at the dentist. “We are wheelchair accessible and our staff is trained to provide uncompromising care for every child,” Dr. Penny notes.
