Finding something to eat for the whole family that tastes great and makes you feel good is a tall task. But it doesn’t have to be. Bango Bowls, a quick-serve restaurant that offers fresh and flavorful food for your entire family plans to continue its growth in the Westchester area.

When the restaurant was founded in 2017 by four lifelong friends, they envisioned it being a quick stop for acai bowls. However, Bango Bowls has evolved into so much more. Now, whether customers are in the mood for a smoothie, an acai bowl, salad, a poke bowl, or avocado toast, they can find it, and much more at Bango Bowls.

“Our mission statement is fresh, flavorful, fast, and friendly….all day and every day,” said CEO and co-founder RyanThorman. “The biggest thing is that our produce is fresh and delivered daily. We make all of our salad dressings in-house. All of our proteins and roasted vegetables are also marinated and roasted in-house.

Although the acai bowls are a staple at Bango Bowls, the restaurant is continuing to expand its salad options and warm grain bowls. In addition, they recently released new menu items such as avocado toast and flanini’s (their name for a flatbread panini).

“A lot of traditional healthy spaces have bland food and we really dive into the flavorful piece of it,” said Thorman. “We use salt, pepper, and plenty of other seasonings that we don’t hide behind. It is very important to us that our food tastes amazing.”

Interested in a hearty salad? If so, customers can enjoy different options such as Shrimp Pesto, Creamy Italian, or the fan-favorite, Sweet Potato Cobb. While kids order acai bowls for dinner, parents can pick the Chicken Fajita Grain Bowl or a Greek Vegetable Flanini. With Bango Bowl’s innovative menu, everyone in the family can find a wholesome meal to savor.

“We take some of the traditional things that you may see from a salad standpoint and put our own spin on it,” Thorman added. “Use our Sweet Potato Cobb salad as an example. You don’t normally see roasted sweet potatoes in a cobb salad but at Bango Bowls, we are adding sweet potatoes and then tossing it in our proprietary lemon basil ranch dressing.”

Bango Bowls is not a spot limited to only lunch and dinner options. The expansive breakfast menu at Bango Bowls provides Westchester residents with a healthy alternative to fast food in the morning. Instead of grabbing a sugary coffee or skipping breakfast altogether, customers can order ahead and stop at their local Bango Bowls to try the variety of smoothies, toasts, oatmeals, or acai bowls.

“All of our restaurants are open kitchens so you can see us preparing your food right in front of you,” Thorman added. “We make it as fast and convenient as possible without sacrificing quality.”

Since Bango Bowls prides itself on being quick, the restaurant is technology-driven. While Bango Bowls recently launched an app, they also work with other online tools to make ordering simple for customers. In addition, customers can walk up and order in-store or order online for delivery.

For customers with specific food allergies or preferences, Bango Bowls allows them to build their own salads, bowls, and oatmeal. From the base to the toppings, to the salad dressing, customers have a say in what they eat. After Westchester residents try the menu at the new Bango Bowls locations, they will leave feeling fueled and proud of the food they put in their bodies.
