With the right sales person at the right dealership, buying a car should be effortless and EXCITING! That’s the experience you will get when shopping at any of the Pepe Auto Group’s six luxury locations: Mercedes-Benz of White Plains, Mercedes-Benz of New Rochelle, Pepe Cadillac, Pepe Infiniti, Porsche Larchmont and Audi Nyack.

1 in 5 purchased their vehicle online in 2021

The Pepe Auto Group has an online car shopping process that’s been extremely successful. While some people may have been hesitant to purchase online, more than 70% of Pepe’s customers complete some portion of their car buying online. Pepe has seen a good mix of online shopping and in person interaction. The Pepe Auto Group’s online shop is available to those who need it and it’s here to stay!

“It’s all about convenience for the consumer.” Says Jimmy Macagna, General Manager at Mercedes-Benz of White Plains. “It’s as personal, informative, and effective as shopping for a vehicle in-person.”

The online process is modeled after the traditional in-store process, so if you start the online process and at any point decide that you would prefer to finish the transaction in person – that can be arranged. You can pick up your car for delivery or Pepe Auto Group can deliver the car to you.

Another way Pepe is making shopping simple, is they’ve made their incoming vehicles available for you to view online. You can browse cars in stock or vehicles in transit. If your lease is coming due soon, the Pepe Auto Group suggests starting your shopping process a few months in advance to assure it will be here in time for your lease termination. If you don’t see the exact model and color you like, Pepe Auto Group will work with you to custom build your order! This gives you the opportunity to have every option, bell and whistle that you may need. And there are a lot of incoming models to choose from!

The future is bright

Among these new models available to order are the new Mercedes- Maybach Sedan and the redesigned 2021 S-Class Sedan – both are paradise for passengers! The digital cockpit responds to your natural spoken requests, or via touchscreens and a tablet. Climate and seating comforts tend to passengers individually. Music, lighting, massage and aromatherapy rival your favorite spa.

2022 AWD QX60

Infiniti lovers will be pleased to know the All-New completely redesigned 7 Passenger 2022 AWD QX60 is finally available! Enjoy VIP treatment every time you get behind the wheel of the QX60. The innovative interior design is fit for a celebrity but fashioned for everyday life – including front-row seats with available massage technology.

The All-New 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 300 is a new breed of bold arriving early 2022. An international best-seller, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan is rejuvenated with leading-edge features and a sharp, dynamic design. And if you’re looking for an elegant SUV, we expect the new 2022 Porsche Macan at the start of next year.

Big aspirations in the luxury electric-vehicle space

Now, on to electric! We’ve seen massive improvements in the motors that drive electric vehicles, the computers that control them, charging systems and car design. And the most striking change is in prices. Global sales of electric cars raced forward in 2020, rising by 43% to a total of 3.2 million. By 2025, most auto brands aim to have various electrified models on sale.  It is an ambitious plan showing the industry’s global commitment for a more electrified and sustainable future. The batteries in today’s cars are more than sufficient for the average daily commute. In addition, charging times have been drastically decreased.

The Porsche Taycan

The All-Electric Porsche Taycan and the new 2022 Taycan Cross Turismo are top of our radar. These Taycan twins are extraordinarily satisfying to drive. The wagon has a bigger back seat and trunk than the sedan. The Cross Turismo is both a useful family hauling tool and a great way to make wagon-haters think again. One of the coolest changes to the Cross Turismo is the ability to park itself without someone behind the wheel, which can be done via smartphone with the new remote-parking feature. The Cross Turismo aligns with the regular Taycan, except there’s no rear-wheel-drive model and the price for the wagon is slightly more expensive than the sedan.

Mercedes EQS

The sizable Mercedes EQS sedan is the flagship of the brand’s electrified future and one of the fanciest EVs ever! It’s also the brands first fully electric vehicle to be offered in the US! The MBUX infotainment system on the EQS is one of its most prominent interior features, especially the 56-inch-long Hyperscreen.

The optional Hyperscreen acts as one massive display that consists of three distinct screens. Along with the dazzling array of screens, the EQS features a fingerprint scanner that activates individual driver profiles, the “Hey Mercedes” voice-command system, and augmented-reality navigation in the head-up display. Stay tuned — Mercedes-Benz will have 4 EQ launches in 2022 and three of them will be SUV’s!

Cadillac Lyriq
Cadillac Lyriq

The first-ever Cadillac Lyriq is Cadillac’s first all-electric offering! General Motors is launching a line of new EV battery technology with the Lyriq called Ultium. Cadillac says that the Lyriq will offer a battery with about 100-kWh worth of capacity and should be capable of driving ranges of more than 300 miles per charge. DC fast charging capability will be standard but the Lyriq will also be able to charge on home power outlets.

The Lyriq’s dashboard, like the new Escalade, is dominated by a giant, 33.0-inch curved advanced LED display that serves as both the SUV’s infotainment system and the driver’s gauge display.

Audi has an impressive electric lineup! The Audi e-tron lithium-ion battery can be charged at certain high-voltage (level 3), fast charging stations at a rate of up to 150 kW, which, can charge the battery to 80 percent capacity in about 30 minutes.

Audi e-tron GT

The 2022 e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT are two high-performance electric cars that pack 522 horsepower and 637 hp respectively. With a powerful presence, the wide stance and flowing lines of the e-tron GT make it unignorable. The 2022 Audi e-tron S and e-tron S Sportback are making their way to the U.S. this fall. We’ll see the Audi Q4 e-tron in late 2021. With a starting price under $45k, this is the most approachable Audi EV yet. With the optional augmented reality head-up display in the Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron, Audi is taking a huge step forward in display technology.

If electric seems to spark your interest, the Pepe Auto Group can assist you in recommending different home charging systems that best suit your lifestyle. There are also a number of incentives and rebates to purchasing an electric vehicle such as the Federal Tax Credit. The Pepe Auto group is excited for what the future holds for luxury automotive brands and we hope you join us for the exciting ride!
