CMO and CFO added to Houlihan Lawrence’s C-Suite
Houlihan Lawrence in Rye Brook has expanded its office with the addition of a CMO and a CFO. The company recently promoted Anne Marie Gianutsos, a digital and public relations head turned chief marketing officer, and Nicholas Fears, joining the company as CFO. Gianutsos has been a part of the Houlihan Lawrence team for three years, overseeing all digital and mobile marketing, product, and strategies for the company. As a CMO, Gianutsos will now work on Houlihan Lawrence’s creative processes, oversee public relations, and ensure organized company messaging. Fears will work to improve the company’s financial reporting and develop effective financial, risk, and operation strategies. “Both Gianutsos and Fears are imperative in leading our strategic growth initiatives and in elevating our standard for excellence in luxury real estate,” says Christopher Meyers, the company’s managing principal.

Dr. Ronnie Myers has been appointed dean of Touro College of Dental Medicine in Valhalla. Dr. Myers has previous experience as a dean for Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Myers has also been a consultant to the Commission of Dental Accreditation, a member and chair of the New York State Board of Dentistry, and chair member of the American Dental Education Association section on clinic administration. The new dean plans to develop “a unique educational and clinical program that incorporates many aspects of primary health care into the oral health care environment,” among other plans. Myers succeeds Dr. Jay Goldsmith, who has been named dean emeritus.

Heineken USA Announces New Vice President of Marketing for the Tecate Brand
Esther Garcia of Dobbs Ferry has been appointed as the new Vice President of Marketing for the Tecate Brand. Garcia has been a part of the Heineken USA team for two years, first joining as its Innovation team leader. Prior to joining this team, Garcia worked for Heineken Spain as the Senior Group Brand Manager for Amstel. In this role, Garcia led the innovation agenda for the non-alcoholic Amstel line, along with managing the Heineken brand in Spain. Garcia has 17 years of brand management experience at leading consumer packaged goods companies, such as Unilever and Kimberly-Clark, under her belt.
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano Appoints New Director of Sustainability
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced that Jason Baker, Special Assistant to the Mayor, would assume the responsibilities of the Yonkers Director of Sustainability. In this role, Baker will facilitate efforts towards achieving Yonkers’ goals of improving public health and quality of life, reducing costs, and expanding access to green jobs and businesses. In his prior role, Baker had directly overseen the Office of Sustainability since 2015 and managed a broad-based portfolio of facilities and asset management projects.“Jason is a natural fit for this position as he expands his role in my administration,” said Mayor Spano. “He has deep knowledge and experience in environmental initiatives and, as a City we look forward to continuing our efforts to make Yonkers a greener, more sustainable place for today and future generations.”
WJCS Appoints Lisa Scott as Center Lane Director

William Lamb Named Dean of Iona College School of Business
Iona College in New Rochelle has appointed William B. Lamb as dean of its School of Business. Lamb is currently a professor of entrepreneurship at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts and has served as dean of the F.W Olin Graduate School of Business since 2014. Prior to this role, Lamb spent 13 years working in administrative posts at Ohio University. Iona officials have said that Lamb’s areas of expertise include knowledge management, technology management, and the birth and growth of higher technology industries. He succeeds Vincent J. Calluzzo and Charles Cante.
