Woman Struck By Southbound Tarrytown Train

A woman was struck by a train on the tracks of the Tarrytown Metro North station this morning, according to the MTA.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., an unauthorized woman on the tracks at Tarrytown Station was struck by a southbound train. According to MTA spokesperson Nancy Gamerman, the woman “was transported alive and conscious to Westchester Medical Center.” The MTA police department is actively investigating though the MTA notes that “it appears no criminality was involved” in the incident.
