Wild Edibles Walk And Taste At Stone Barns Center

Hot Date

Emile Hirsch’s poison-berry induced death at the end of (Spoiler alert!) Into the Wild have you hell-bent on avoiding the same fate? Out to find your own add-in for Sunday morning’s pancakes? Either way—because these are the only possible reasons you’re curious about what’s edible in your back woods—Stone Barns Center’s gardener, Laura Perkins, has the answer. She’ll be leading “A Wild Edibles Walk and Taste” on Sunday, June 8 from 1 to 2:30 pm. For $30 per person (ages 12 and up, FYI), you’ll find out what the good edibles are and where they’re hiding. Plus, there’s a recipe demonstration and tasting.
